As Louis sat down, he couldn’t help but wonder what Clark meant when he wished him luck; he wanted to dismiss it as simple sarcasm, and he knew his mind shouldn’t have been preoccupied with such trivial matters, but the way Clark smiled almost seemed sincere, it made Louis wonder if he knew something – or worse – the fiend! Clark knew it would nag at him and eat him up inside; he wanted the last laugh, and unless the Governor called, he would get it.
