Medusa

Betty put on her gloves and filled the watering pot, humming delightedly to herself. She went out the back door to her prized garden, watering the hibiscus and lilies and singing to each of her plants so they would grow big and beautiful for her; they each had names, like Henrietta and Ben, they had unique personalities and special traits that made them each a wonder to behold, but Betty couldn’t deny playing favorites, then again what other flora could hope to compete with the Bolivian leopard pitfall trap?
