Jeremy tucked the envelope into his backpack as he got out of the cab and walked through the campus, taking time to appreciate the beautiful day; not just the sun and sculptures, but the students protesting the use of non-vegetarian cooking oil for the french fries, and flyers for the Volcano Worshipers Club. He savored the moment and continued to the dorms, making his way to B Hall; he knocked on her door and when she answered, he told her everything. For a while they sat together in silence, but it wasn’t uncomfortable or sad, in fact it was another moment for him to savor.
