a cure for the common block


Sandy carefully diced the onions and tomatoes and mentally adjusted the spaghetti
recipe for the three guests joining her and her boyfriend for dinner. She would
have come to the conclusion that she needed to return to the store to pick up more
tomato paste, but a clot in her leg broke up, traveled through her bloodstream
and stopped her heart; before she could register the chest pain, she was dead on
the floor.

  1. I hate it when this happens. The garlic bread isn’t prepared on time and you miss out on Winslow’s eye roll as he critiques the sauce and declares it’s in need of tabasco sauce. On second thought, maybe instantaneous isn’t so bad.
