End Game

The Old Man checked his watch and nodded his head. He stood up from the bench and made his way to the table in the park, but something about the way he walked, with conviction, made his slow pace seem more dignified and sturdy than most men his age. He tipped his hat to the Silverback and took his seat with a smile. Without breaking eye contact, the gorilla moved King’s pawn up a space.
